Job Description
Pay Range 20 to 22

We are seeking a Crew Scheduler to join the company, a premier supplier, in Kansas City, KS.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Produce accurate schedules to meet production requirements.

· Maintain compliance with collective bargaining agreement.

· Schedule employees for a wide variety of off work events (such as vacations, Leave of Absences, bereavement leaves, etc.) training (including familiarization), company functions.

· Schedule these activities in accordance with existing policies, procedures, and contractual constraints.

· Respond to production requirement changes quickly and accurately and coordinate crew scheduling requirements with Supervisors.

· May prepare daily crew sheets and schedules for each department and/or work area.

· Recall employees from layoff as required.

· Enter employee attendance into appropriate database(s) and create individual and summary trend reports.

· Schedule and participate in meetings.

· Generate and maintain reports, such as Monthly Hours, Absenteeism and OT reports in accordance with collective bargaining agreement.

· Maintain and manage attendance, scheduling, and other documentation in accordance to company document retention policies.

· Maintain confidentiality as required.

· May support the research of initial response to scheduling grievances.
