Key Responsibilities: • Manual dumping of boxes from pallets. • Sorting material by grade, separating and discarding identified contaminants. • As authorized, ability to perform repairs to equipment as needed to ensure operationally safe when in production. • When authorized, perform daily, weekly and monthly equipment maintenance tasks as directed by the Plant Manager or Supervisor Load and unload vehicles as required and verify accuracy of deliveries and pickups. • Maintain chain of custody and strict control over incoming and outgoing customer material. • Ability to identify and recommend changes to Plant Manager and/or Destruction Supervisor as needed. Immediate notification to Plant Manager or Destruction Supervisor when equipment is not operational or there are safety and security concerns. • Assist with training of new staff as needed. • Learn and understand compliance with all OSHA requirements, as well as safety and security procedures – including wearing required uniform and PPE’s… Business Expertise/Functional Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: • High School Diploma or equivalent experience in an Operations / Production / Manufacturing environment.
